FARGO - An apartment cleaner found counterfeit bills while cleaning a vacant unit Sunday in south Fargo.
The discovery was reported to police at 7:01 p.m. in the 2600 block of 15th Street South.
Information on how much fake money was found wasn't available, Fargo Police Sgt. Mark Lykken said. Comments on the dispatch report indicate the bills had the same serial number.
The report will be sent to the U.S. Secret Service for follow-up, Lykken said.
