Grand Forks Thanksgiving announcements
Grand Forks City Hall will be closed Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving, and regularly scheduled city services will not be conducted.
Cities Area Transit, including City Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride, will not run on Thanksgiving but will resume regular schedules and routes Friday.
Regularly scheduled garbage pick-up for Thursday customers will be performed either Wednesday or Friday, depending on location.
Recycling pick-up for Thursday customers will be rescheduled to Friday, and Friday's recycling will be picked up Saturday.

City offices will re-open for business Friday.
All offices in the County Office building and County Courthouse will be closed Thursday. Friday, Northeast Human Services, Child Support offices and Public Health will re-open. All remaining county offices will reopen for business Monday.
UND cancels Walsh sculpture dedication
UND has canceled today's scheduled dedication of the pedestal and bronze bust of George Walsh.
Officials made the decision today because of the winter storm forecast to hit the region.
The event will be rescheduled at a later date.
