Grand Forks and East Grand Forks city offices as well as government offices in Grand Forks and Polk counties will be closed Monday in observance of Independence Day. Emergency services will continue to operate.
- Cities Area Transit, or city bus, including Senior Rider and Dial-A-Ride, will run as scheduled.
- East Grand Forks trash collection and recycling and Grand Forks recycling will not be affected.
- Grand Forks residents with regularly scheduled Monday pickup will have trash collected on Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Grand Forks City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

- Altru Urgent Care will be open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Altru Retail Pharmacy in Altru Hospital will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Altru clinics, outpatient therapy, Home Health & Hospice offices and clinic pharmacies will be closed Monday. If you have questions regarding the availability of your provider, call their line directly or call (701) 780-5000 for more information.
- All services except dialysis at Aurora Medical Park will be closed Monday.
- UND's Chester Fritz Library will be closed Saturday and Sunday and reopen at 5 p.m. Monday.
- The Campbell Library in East Grand Forks will be closed Saturday through Monday.
- Grand Forks Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday.
