STEPHEN, Minn. -- The Rev. Jon Sorum, a pastor in Parkers Prairie, Minn., and a leader in the Lutheran Core group seeking change in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will speak at 7 p.m. June 2 in First Lutheran Church, 573 Stephen Ave., Stephen, Minn.
The date was wrong in a brief on Page B4 in Saturday's Herald.
Sorum's talk is part of the congregation's effort to decide its response to controversial changes in ELCA policy on gay clergy. Other views will be featured at later meetings in First Lutheran. Anyone is welcome.
