A Cathay, N.D., man accused of having sexual contact with three juveniles pleaded guilty Tuesday to three felony charges, a Wells County clerk of court said.
Jackie Palmi, 55, was charged with 20 counts of gross sexual imposition, but in a plea deal, 17 of those counts were dropped in exchange for his three guilty pleas, the clerk said.
The deal calls for Palmi serve 20 years in prison and 10 years of supervised probation. A sentencing date has not been set for Palmi, who is jailed in Rugby, N.D.
He was arrested in late July after the victims alerted authorities.
Wells County State's Attorney Kathleen Trosen has said there were incidents of abuse as early as 2002 and as recent as June. The 20 charges were related to abuse that occurred when the victims were younger than 15, Trosen said.
