Road to the Metrodome: In the Section 8 tournament, the Storm defeated East Grand Forks Sacred Heart 47-8 in the quarterfinals, Clearbrook-Gonvick 35-16 in the semifinals and Kittson County Central 34-15 in the final. In the state tournament, the Storm defeated McGregor 44-8 in the quarterfinals and Verndale 35-14 in the semifinals.
