Cando 125th schedule

Here is a schedule of some of the major events during Cando's 125th Anniversary:

Today

2 p.m. -- Arbor Day tree planting of a 125th tree by the Shade Tree Committee in the park

4-8 p.m. -- Registration, information booth at the Memorial Building

Friday

8:30 a.m. -- Cando Connection Golf Tournament

9 a.m.-noon -- Towner County Historical Museum open in Egeland, N.D.

9-11 a.m. -- Tours, Towner County Medical Center, Prairie View Estates, Living Center

3 p.m. -- Variety show, Audi Theater

7 p.m. -- Variety show, Audi

10 p.m. -- Street Dance, Deliverance

Saturday

7:30 a.m. --Walk/Run event

8:30 a.m. -- Cando Connection Golf Tournament. Awards and meal to follow

1:30-2:30 p.m. -- Folk Dances at the school gym

4 p.m. -- Parade. Show and Shine your vehicle to follow; music by Special Delivery

10 p.m. --Street Dance, Robby Vee

Sunday

11:30 a.m. -- Organized Potluck at the City Park. Meat donated by Jim and Linda Gibbens; buns, coffee, etc. provided by 125th Anniversary committee; bring beverages and lawn chairs. Entertainment by Tami and Dave

1:30 p.m. -- Tractor pulls at Towner County Fairgrounds
