EAPC Wind expands to South America
EAPC Wind, with offices in North Dakota, Minnesota and Vermont, has initiated operations in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Uruguay, by merging with Buenos Aires-based company Wind Industry Konsult. This new merger has created "EAPC South America" and will offer a complete range of specialized bankable engineering and consultancy services to project developers, the financial community and the manufacturing industry.
Dale Carnegie Training in GF

Credit Unions honored

North Star Community Credit Union in Maddock, N.D., received first-place honors at the state level in the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Program and Citizens Community Credit Union in Devils Lake placed second.
The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award recognizes credit unions that have excelled in community relations and are committed to ongoing charitable programs within their communities. The award is named for Dora Maxwell, a credit union pioneer who worked to improve the living standards of the underserved.
Citizens Community Credit Union in Devils Lake was awarded first place at the state level for the Louise Herring Award, which honors credit unions for their practical application of the "people helping people" philosophy. The award is named after Louise Herring, a credit union pioneer who believed that the operational application of credit union philosophy helped better people's lives.
The awards will be presented at the Mid-America Credit Union Association's Annual Summit set for June 9-11 in the Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls, S.D.
ICON Architectural completes project
ICON Architectural Group, Grand Forks, recently completed a $5 million football stadium upgrade for Georgia Tech University in Atlanta.
The focus of the project includes and end zone LED sign 160 feet long and 60 feet high.
IconHD, a subsidiary of ICON and hired by the Georgia Tech Foundation in April, designed and installed the project. The stadium improvements recently were showcased live on ESPN when the Yellow Jackets hosted rival Clemson.
