Grand Forks police are investigating a report that a masked man brandishing a weapon robbed the Burger Time restaurant on DeMers Avenue.

An employee told police that a white man dressed in a camouflage jacket, black hat, black face mask and sunglasses entered the restaurant and demanded money, according to a department news release.

The man forced his way into the business through a back door while two employees were closing the restaurant Monday night, Lt. Rahn Farder said.

In the interest of the investigation, Farder would not say what sort of weapon was used or how much cash was taken.

Farder said that so far, there's nothing to suggest this robbery is connected to other recent ones.

He said the "likely younger" suspect is about 5-foot-8, 160 pounds.

The department asks that anyone with information about the incident call (701) 787-8000.
