Boehmer re-elected to Devils Lake School Board

The incumbent, Kory Boehmer, won re-election to a three-year term on the Devils Lake School Board on Tuesday, beating challenger Bob Gray, 611 to 449. There were also six write-in votes, so Boehmer garnered 57.3 percent of the total tallied vote.

Boehmer got 362 city votes, versus Gray's 284; he got 249 rural votes, to Gray's 165.

Lyle Hoff and Kevin Regan each got two write-in votes, and Joe Mertens and Mark Shipley each got one write-in vote.

Five ballots were ruled invalid, according to district officials.
