The body of Brett Szklarski, the Strandquist, Minn., man missing since Sunday, was found Friday in a gravel pit about 10 miles southwest of Thief River Falls, inside a vehicle.
The Pennington County Sheriff's Department put out a news release saying a person living near the gravel pit reported seeing the body in the vehicle and called the sheriff's office at 10:46 a.m. Friday. Sheriff's deputies and agents of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension went to the scene, located and identified the body.
Szklarski, 22, last was seen Sunday night in Thief River Falls, driving a 1990 Black Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
Foul play is not suspected but the cause of death won't be known until an autopsy is completed, the sheriff's office said.
Meanwhile, in what authorities say is an unrelated case, the search continues for a Thief River Falls woman missing since Oct. 23.

Gina Lin Anderson, 32, last was seen driving away from her home, by a construction worker who had talked to her briefly, sheriff's deputies said.
A lead came in from Fargo, said Craig Mattson, chief deputy in the Pennington County Sheriff's Office, "but it turned out to be a dead end."
There's no evidence of foul play, he said.
Anderson left home without her purse, cell phone, money, watch or medication she takes for seizures, said family members who are concerned about her health.
