For the most part, blood supplies are back up at the Dak-Minn Blood Bank, according to donor coordinator Julie Jenson.
She said the supply of A positive blood remains "a little low still. We have 42 units available and we should be at 80."
Two weeks ago, the blood bank experienced a dramatic change in the supply of O negative and A positive blood after 14 pints of blood were used in one night.
Since then, blood donations have helped to stock the shelves once again.
"Hopefully we'll be okay for a while," Jenson said. "It changes everyday."

Because Dak-Minn is a relatively small blood bank, a major accident can deplete blood supply rapidly.
Almost anyone can give blood, a short health questionnaire and a brief physical check-up can determine eligibility. Giving blood should take about an hour, even for first-timers.
Anyone interested in donating blood can contact the Dak-Minn Blood Bank at (701) 780-5433. The non-profit agency is just to the right of Altru Hospital's main entrance.
