Candy shop opening
A vintage candy shop specializing in treats from bygone years is set to open Monday in Grand Forks.
Jamey Summers, who is opening her store, Ju Ju Sweets, said her nostalgic candies will include Nik-L-Nip wax bottles, Necco Wafers, flying saucers and other hard-to-find sweets that many adults will recall from childhood.
"They still make it, but stores don't carry it anymore unless you're a specialty store like we are," Summers said.
The store will be Summers' first venture into business ownership, but she said the shop will be a good fit for her sweet tooth.
