MINOT, N.D. -- A Bismarck man attempted to destroy the evidence, but he was still cited with possession of methamphetamines during a routine traffic stop here Monday afternoon.
According to a report from Minot police, Brian Vold, 54, was pulled over for driving with a revoked license. After Vold and his unnamed passenger attempted to walk away from Vold’s car, they were arrested.
The report says Vold emptied a syringe in his pocket that contained methamphetamine. It was enough to earn charges of three class C felonies: possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and destruction of physical evidence.
Vold also faces two misdemeanors tied to the traffic stop.
