A Billings, Mont., woman has been charged with bribing Grafton, N.D., police officers in an attempt to get out of a DUI, and later trying to bribe a jailer for permission to smoke a cigarette.

Lacey Lee Frost, 24, was arrested Sunday at 9:10 p.m. in Walsh County for DUI and driving under suspension. She also has an outstanding warrant in Campbell County, Wyo.

While being arrested, she attempted to bribe Grafton officers for her release, allegedly offering them $3,000.

An affidavit said after having her blood drawn, she asked that authorities let her go and say she ran away. She later told them she had $7,000 in her bank account and offered it for her release.

Once she was jailed, she made multiple cash offers - up to $200 - to the jailer to be allowed to smoke a cigarette.
