Bicyclist dies in crash near Parkers Prairie, Minn.

PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. - A bicyclist is dead after riding into traffic Thursday evening near this Otter Tail County town.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a bicyclist was riding west on 145th Street about 4 p.m. when the cyclist entered traffic and broadsided a northbound construction truck on state Highway 29.

The bicyclist was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The truck was not damaged in the accident.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
