FARGO - A presidential candidate, amid a heated battle for the Democratic nomination, will speak in Fargo this Friday.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-V.T., will speak at the Ramada Convention Center, 1635 42nd St. S., on Friday, May 13, according to an event listing on the candidate’s website.

Doors open for the speech at 11 a.m. Friday. It’s free and open to the public, though admission is first come, first served and RSVPs are encouraged, the campaign said.

Parking will be available on-site and additional transportation is available through MATBUS.

The campaign advised attendees to not bring bags to the event, and no outside food or beverages are allowed past security checkpoints.
