A Belcourt, N.D., man pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing stolen firearms, which he sold to relatives.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Terry J. Gourneau Jr., 21, had the guns from Sept. 18 to 20.

The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Gourneau is scheduled to be sentenced on June 25 in U.S. District Court in Bismarck.
