A St. Michael, N.D., man was arrested Monday in Devils Lake after ramming his vehicle into the vehicle of a person who had just reported him on suspicion of drunk driving.

Marshall Demarce, 23, was arrested after fleeing officers at the Devils Lake Law Enforcement Center and leading them on a 10-mile chase.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 9 p.m., the law enforcement center received a 911 call of a possible drunk driver heading north on North Dakota Highway 20 about 1½ miles south of Devils Lake.

The reporting party drove to the law enforcement center, but was followed by the Demarce.

The release said Demarce parked behind the reporting party's vehicle and wouldn't let the vehicle leave the lot. Two highway patrol troopers and a Ramsey County deputy watched Demarce ram his vehicle into the reporting party's vehicle.
