AKELEY, Minn. - The public is being asked to help find a 35-year-old former Akeley man accused of shooting several rounds at a man Friday.
The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help in finding Josh Herdina.
According to a Hubbard County Sheriff's news release issued today:
Jeremy Johnson told officers he drove to Wayne Herdina's residence about a mile east of Akeley. He heard two gunshots as he planned to exit his vehicle.
Johnson said he saw Josh Herdina walking toward him and yelling "get off my property."

As Johnson began backing his vehicle out of the driveway, he said the man pointed a handgun at him and shot six times at the vehicle. One of the bullets went through the windshield and lodged into the dashboard.
Johnson left the residence and drove to Bemidji, where he met with law enforcement. Officers there then talked with Hubbard County officials.
Hubbard sheriff officials executed a search warrant at Wayne Herdina's residence but Josh Herdina wasn't found. Officials also checked another residence but haven't located him.
