RAY, N.D. -- Authorities are looking for a man who robbed the Ray Cooperative Credit Union and escaped on a snowmobile.
The suspect came into the credit union in the northwestern North Dakota town about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, when two employees were inside, authorities said.
"There was reason to believe he was carrying a handgun," Williams County Sheriff Scott Busching said.
The man demanded money and the employees turned over an undisclosed amount, said Aaron Soine, manager of the Ray Cooperative Credit Union. They were not hurt.
"Everybody is fine," Soine said.

Authorities said statements from witnesses and tracks in the snow indicated the man escaped in a snowmobile.
Busching said the FBI and the state Highway Patrol have joined in the investigation. Searchers in snowmobiles and other vehicles Wednesday night turned up no suspects.
