A wildlife art contest is now collecting entries from students who could win a trip to a national exposition.
Wildlife Forever, a wildlife conservation group based in Brooklyn Center, Minn., is running the State-Fish Art contest, which uses art to help teach children about aquatic resource stewardship.
The contest is open to all students in fourth through 12th grade. The winning artist from each state will be invited to attend the national exposition to compete for prizes.
A free CD-ROM lesson plan about the contest and learning activities is now available for homeschoolers and teachers. For more information, visit www.statefishart.com .
