GF Park District to unveil naming rights for new Wellness Center
The Grand Forks Park District has set a press conference at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday to unveil the naming sponsor of the new Wellness Center.
The press conference will be held at King's Walk Golf Course, 5301 S. Columbia Road.
AARP honors Byron Dorgan
AARP will present its 2009 Legislative Leadership Award to Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., today in Bismarck for his efforts to provide Americans with access to safe, lower-cost prescription drugs from abroad to make prescription drugs more affordable for all Americans who cannot afford their medications, a release from AARP said.

Fundraising breakfast set
The East Grand Forks Senior Center fundraising breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 6 at 538 Rhinehart Drive S.E. Adults, $5, kids 12 and younger, $2.50, younger than 5, free.
