Constitution classes set
A two-session seminar on the U.S. Constitution is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the meeting room of Culver's Restaurant on 32nd Avenue South in Grand Forks.
These sessions will be open to the public and are designed for those 12 and older. Cost is $15/individual and $25/couple or family. Space is limited; call (701) 746-9550 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for reservations.

Hoeven to proclaim Vietnam Veterans Day
Gov. John Hoeven will sign a proclamation designating March 29 Vietnam Veterans Day at a 2 p.m. ceremony today in Memorial Hall at the state Capitol in Bismarck. The proclamation is in accordance with a bill passed by the 2009 Legislature designating the day in honor and remembrance of Vietnam veterans.
To accommodate those who cannot attend the ceremony, the signing will be webcast at www.nd.gov .
EERC partners with Accelergy
Accelergy Corp., a Houston-based producer of clean liquid fuels, has established a corporate office at the Energy and Environmental Research Center at UND in Grand Forks to support its research, development and commercialization activities.
The EERC said the partnership will push commercialization opportunities in North Dakota to build an advanced tactical fuels production complex. By the end of 2011, a demonstration-scale, advanced biomass refinery will potentially be developed jointly by Tesoro, Accelergy and the EERC at Tesoro's Mandan refinery.

USAF chief of staff to speak in GF
U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz will deliver the keynote speech at the 2010 Red River Valley Research Corridor Unmanned Aircraft Systems Action Summit on May 20-21 in the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, according to a press release from Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D.

Spring travel series set for Roseau Public Library
"Lunch at the Library," beginning at noon Thursdays in April at the Roseau Public Library, will feature photo highlights and commentary shared by area residents who have traveled recently to three continents and a large island in the North Pacific Ocean.
