REGINA, Sask. -- A missing Saskatchewan girl and her mother were found safe Wednesday -- one day after Regina police said they believed the pair had been abducted by the girl's father.
After a desperate search through the night, police found Samantha Martyn, 4; her mother, Natasha Sentes; and the girl's father, Christopher Alan Martyn. The three were found after a relative called police to say that they had shown up at a home in Regina.
Samantha is in "great" health, but her mother has some minor physical injuries, police spokeswoman Lara Guzik said.
"She did receive some injuries, we're not going to go into details of that, but visibly, she has some injuries and investigators will be looking to (see) if there are other injuries. But non-life-threatening injuries," Guzik said at a news conference Wednesday morning.
She added Sentes did not need to go to a hospital.

Martyn has been taken into custody. No charges have been filed. There appears to be a breach of a peace bond on Martyn to stay away from Sentes, Guzik said.
According to the provincial courthouse, a no-contact order was issued against Martyn on June 17. The documents say Martyn was accused of making "threats to do personal injury to Natasha Sentes. and Natasha Sentes is afraid that Christopher Alan Martyn will carry out such threats."
Police issued an Amber Alert about noon Tuesday, saying they believed Samantha and Sentes had been taken by Martyn, who was estranged from Sentes.
The search was intense and stretched into Manitoba, where the father and daughter were spotted at a gas station in Manitou, a town southwest of Winnipeg.
"I thought there was something weird with this vehicle, I didn't know why," teenager Quinton Ducharme, who was working the early shift, told CTV News. "He looked like he had something to hide, almost."
Ducharme said when he went home, he saw news about the Amber Alert on television and immediately called police.
Mounties took the surveillance video from the gas station and broadcast it across Canada and in North Dakota.
