Altru Health System in Grand Forks will hold two open enrollment sessions for people who want to sign up for health insurance with the federal online insurance exchange.
The events will be Feb. 20, from noon to 7 p.m. at the Altru Professional Center, 4440 S. Washington St., and March 10, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Altru Business Center, 2401 DeMers Ave.
Certified application counselors from Altru and Valley Community Health Center will be available to assist patients with preparing and applying for coverage through the marketplace, also known as exchange.
Individuals without insurance are encouraged to take part in these events to become insured before the March 31 deadline as outlined by the Affordable Care Act.
Enrollees should bring financial information such as tax returns, pay stubs, or W-2 forms and identification cards, including social security numbers or document numbers for legal immigrants.
