Altru and Grand Forks Public Health to discontinue drive-thru COVID-19 testing
Testing will continue to be available through any Altru primary care physician and weekday mornings at the UND Fritz Pollard Jr. Athletic Center.
Altru and Grand Forks Public Health will discontinue drive-thru COVID-19 testing at Altru Professional Center starting Wednesday, Oct. 27.
PCR testing will continue to be available through any Altru primary care physician or express clinic location, as well as from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fritz Pollard Jr. Athletic Center located at 2419 2nd Ave. N. in Grand Forks. The UND site will also continue to offer rapid antigen screening, which individuals can register for at testreg.nd.gov.
“Our partnership completed thousands of tests in the last six weeks,” Heather Strandell, Director of Primary Care at Altru, said in a statement. “With cooler weather moving into the region, now is the time to move our nurses and equipment indoors. We appreciate Grand Forks Public Health’s partnership in supporting our community’s COVID-19 testing.”
To schedule a PCR test, visit MyChart.Altru.org or call the Nurse Advice Line at 701-780-6358 to pre-register. For more information on COVID-19 testing in Grand Forks, visit www.grandforksgov.com/covidtest.
