An alleged heroin dealer and his housemate in Grand Forks have been arrested, according to the Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department.

Ian August Noack, 30, was stopped by East Grand Forks police on suspicion of drunk driving Monday evening, the department said. His housemate, Michelle Callee McCauley, 27, was also arrested.

While they were out, the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force had come to their home at 6405 Lake Drive to serve a search warrant.

Drug agents found drug paraphernalia and firearms, which Noack, a felon, is not allowed to have, the department said.

He and McCauley are in jail in Minnesota.

When they are extradited to North Dakota, the sheriff's department said Noack will likely face charges of conspiracy to possess heroin with intent to deliver, possession of heroin, possession of heroin and marijuana paraphernalia, and being a felon in possession of firearms.

McCauley will likely face charges of possession of heroin and heroin paraphernalia.

The sheriff's department said investigation into the case continues.
