True Colors opened in downtown Grand Forks in November, 2006. We are a women's consignment shop specializing in better women's and junior fashions. We carry sizes from 0-28 and insist on consigning only the best quality name brands. To compliment our consigned items, we also carry new jewelry, handbags, sunglasses and our exclusive line of Curly Girl greeting cards. We offer a fun, upbeat shopping experience in the heart of downtown Grand Forks.
I'm Mickie Nakonechny and as the owner of True Colors, the only consignment shop in Grand Forks, I've built a thriving business out of an idea that is unique in our area. The resale industry is growing by over 15 percent annually as people become more conscious of recycling in all areas of their lives. We have become a disposable society and I'm pleased to offer both consignors and shoppers the opportunity to recycle their like-new clothes and accessories.
At True Colors we carry the top brands in women's clothing. High school and college ladies shop the front of our store where they'll find Abercrombie & Fitch sweatshirts, Hollister tees, and Silver jeans. The back half our store is dedicated to brands like Eddie Bauer, Talbots, boutique labels and occasionally a Burberry blouse or a Louis Vuitton handbag. We receive hundreds of new items every week. All merchandise accepted for consignment must be clean, pressed and in excellent condition. We accept only fashions less than three years old and carry brands otherwise unavailable in Grand Forks.
There are no secrets to the success of True Colors. We are selective when accepting items for consignment so our racks are stocked with only the best. We stay on top of current pricing, so we're competitive and our customers can rely on that. The store is clean and organized, and our staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming.
