A 4-year-old boy was airlifted to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo after being pulled from a swimming pool Saturday evening at Budget Inn Express.
Grand Forks Police Department, Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Ambulance were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7 p.m.
When responding units arrived, the child had been taken to the office area and CPR had been administered, according to a police report. Emergency service personnel took over and continued life saving efforts. The child was transported to Altru Hospital and then to Fargo.
The investigation of the incident is ongoing.
