Moorhead police busted a party and cited 36 people - the majority of them college students - for minor in consumption Thursday night, Lt. Joel Scharf said.
Officers working a shift targeting underage drinking were dispatched at 10:20 p.m. to a loud gathering at a rental house at 903 7th Ave. S.
All of the people present at the party were between the ages of 18 and 20. The majority of them were college students, but they weren't affiliated with any particular school, Scharf said.
"It was a hybrid of pretty much all the local colleges," he said.

The house is two blocks west of Minnesota State University Moorhead.
One person also was arrested for fleeing an officer on foot and providing a false name and date of birth.
Funding for the targeted patrol shifts comes from MSUM, Concordia College, Minnesota State Community and Technical College and the Moorhead Police Department.
