Three family members were seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash north of Alexandria on Memorial Day Monday afternoon.

The crash happened on Highway 29 near Maple Way NE at about 12:30 p.m.

Christopher Doering, 26, of Alexandria was driving a 2004 Ford Freestar south on Highway 29 when the vehicle veered to the left, went off the road and ended up in the east ditch, according to the State Patrol. The airbags were deployed.

Doering, and two passengers, his father, Marvin Doering, 54, and his mother, Jenny Doering, 53, of Parkers Prairie, were injured.

Jenny was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries. She was listed in stable but critical condition Tuesday morning.
