BEMIDJI -- Authorities are investigating a hit and run incident that killed a 25-year-old man on Grange Road Northwest Wednesday morning.
According to a press release issued by Beltrami County Sheriff Phil Hodapp, two people reported that a body was lying in the middle of the road just east of Nature Road Northwest at 4:24 a.m.
The man's name is being withheld pending notification of the family.
Investigators, including the Minnesota State Patrol, are looking for a red vehicle with damage to its front end. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 218-333-9111.
