(WDAZ-TV) - A 15-year-old Adams, ND, girl has died from injuries she sustained in an ATV accident.
Kelsey Misialek died Tuesday, June 26, at Sanford Health in Fargo, according to an obituary announcement.
She was injured four days earlier in Adams around 5:30 p.m. Misialek was eastbound on a 2005 Bombardier ATV on Third Street when she was clipped by Kim Bylin, 60, of Adams, as she attempted to pass his 2010 Ford pickup.
Bylin started turning left into a lot on Third Street near the intersection with Farup Street when the front end of his pickup made contact with the ATV, causing it to roll over. Misialek was thrown from the ATV and suffered serious head injuries.
Misialek was taken to First Care Hospital in Park River and then flown to an undisclosed hospital in Fargo by Life Flight. Bylin was not injured.
