GRAND FORKS-A passenger was taken by ambulance to the hospital Saturday, Jan. 27, after a two-vehicle crash on North Columbia Road.

Grand Forks Police reported officers responded shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday to a two-vehicle crash involving injuries at the intersection of 10th Avenue North and North Columbia Road.

According to a news release, a 1999 Oldsmobile sedan that was northbound on Columbia Road struck an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado as the Chevy crossed Columbia on 10th Avenue in front of the sedan.

Police said the Silverado's driver, 41-year-old old Kal Desrosier, of Crookston, Minn., was cited for failure to yield right of way at a controlled intersection.

The news release didn't say if Desrosier or the driver of the sedan, 25-year-old Chassity Williams-Morrison, of Grand Forks, were injured.
