1 killed, 1 injured in Tolna, N.D., crash

An 86-year-old woman was killed and a Grand Forks woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash near Tolna, N.D., on Thursday, according to the state Highway Patrol.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has not yet identified the woman killed.

Emily Danduran, 23, of Grand Forks was driving west on North Dakota Highway 15 when she struck the other vehicle at the intersection with Nelson County Road 32. According to a Highway Patrol report, the second vehicle was traveling south on the county road and its driver did not yield at the crossing and was hit on its driver's side door.

Danduran's Chevrolet Malibu spun 180 degrees and came to a stop in the eastbound lane of Highway 15, according to the report. A 2-year-old passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

All three people were taken to McVille Hospital. The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the hospital.
