What a difference! In February of 2019, Fargo's average high was 10 degrees and the average low was 8 below. Of the 28 days in the month, 20 had a subzero temperature for at least a part of the day and there was a record 21.4" of snow during the month. This February, the average high was 24 degrees and the average low was 2 degrees. Only 10 of the 29 days went subzero and there was just 1.4" of snow.
For the first 16 days of March in 2019, the average high was 20 degrees and the average low was one above. Eight of the first 16 days were subzero for a part of the day and there was 11.5" of new snow. This March, the average high has been 34 degrees and the average low 20. Snow has been less than an inch and there have been no subzero temperatures yet. So feel free to complain about the weather today. Just be glad it isn't last year.
