North Dakota man seriously injured in rollover crash near Devils Lake

DEVILS LAKE—A Webster, N.D., man was seriously injured Monday near Devils Lake during a rollover crash on icy roads.

Darren Gray, 35, was in serious yet stable condition after he lost control of his 2006 Dodge Dakota at 10:25 a.m. about 7 miles north of Devils Lake on N.D. Highway 20, according to a news release. He was southbound on the highway when the pickup crossed the road, went into the east ditch and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels, the release said.

Gray was taken to CHI St. Alexius Health in Devils Lake then later Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The release said he was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
