Three people were transported to Altru Hospital following a two-vehicle car crash in Polk County Monday afternoon, March 1.
Deputies were dispatched to the intersection at Polk County Road 20 and Polk County Road 23 at about 1:15 p.m. for a report of a car crash, according to a release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Donald Vansickle, 92, of Warren, Minn., was traveling southbound on County Road 20 in a 2018 Chevy Equinox when he was struck by a westbound 2004 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Christina Lambert, 30, of Grand Forks, the release states.
Vansickle and his passenger, 79-year-old Shirley Vansickle, were transported to Altru with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. Lambert also transported herself to Altru with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, and further information will not be released at this time, according to the release.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Altru Ambulance, Warren Ambulance and the Warren Fire Department.
