DeMers Avenue. will have a temporary road closure, three separate times for 15 minutes per time, between 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday as part of the DeMers Ave. reconstruction project.
The closure will be from 5th St. to the Sorlie Bridge.
The three short closures will allow crews and equipment to maneuver in the area as they pour concrete for the sidewalks.
There will not be a detour during these closures. Traffic will be held as crews do their work during these 15 minute increments and then allowed through once the equipment is clear.
Please plan accordingly if you plan to travel down DeMers Ave. in the downtown area between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., city official asked.
