STARK COUNTY, N.D. — A Richardton, N.D., woman was killed Tuesday night, March 16, in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Stark County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that two vehicles — a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and a 2006 Subaru Forester — were eastbound on I-94 near milepost 80. While the vehicles were passing each other, they collided and spun out, entering the south ditch, according to the news release.

The Forester rolled, and the driver, Brooke Hargrove, 23, of Richardton, was killed, according to the release. It was unknown if Hargrove was using a safety belt.

The Laredo, driven by Jacqueline Miller, 33, of Dickinson, N.D., exited the south ditch, crossed both lanes of travel and came to a stop facing west in the north ditch, according to the release. Miller was using a safety belt.

The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
