Polk County emergency agencies respond to fire in rural Warren, Minn., home

The fire was contained and there were no injuries.

WARREN, Minn. – Emergency workers in Polk County responded to a fire at a home on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

According to a release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, a call came shortly after 10 p.m., reporting a bed on fire in a home at 37978 140th St. NW, near Warren. The Warren Fire Department, Alvarado Fire Department, Crookston Fire Department and Warren ambulance responded.

According to a release from the sheriff's office, there were no injuries. The fire was contained inside a bedroom, and the residence suffered minor structural and smoke damage.

The Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division will be investigating.
