One dead after Roseau County car accident leaves vehicle submerged in water
Marissa Ann Rasmussen, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Monday afternoon, June 22, outside Greenbush, Minn.
A woman is dead following a motor vehicle accident in Roseau County.
Roseau County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an accident around 1 p.m. Monday, June 22, on County Road 23 west of Greenbush, Minn.
Deputies found a vehicle submerged in water with the victim, Marissa Ann Rasmussen, 48, still inside, according to a release from the Roseau County Sheriff's Office.
Rasmussen was removed from the vehicle, found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other occupants of the vehicle, according to the release. The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
The Greenbush Fire Department and Roseau Life Care Ambulance also responded to the scene.
