One boater rescued, another missing in north-central Minn.

BACKUS, Minn.--One man was rescued and another was still missing the evening of Tuesday, June 12, when a boat overturned on a lake in north-central Minnesota's Cass County.

BACKUS, Minn.-One man was rescued and another was still missing the evening of Tuesday, June 12, when a boat overturned on a lake in north-central Minnesota's Cass County.

Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reported at 1:30 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff's Office received a report of two people thrown from a boat on Hay Lake northeast of Backus.

Responders and deputies arrived and found a man who was operating the boat. He was taken to shore and treated on scene for minor injuries.

The search continued into Tuesday evening for the man who was a passenger in the boat.
