Williston woman injured after pickup collides with train
Kimberly Northridge was ejected from her vehicle through the passenger window after striking the train.
ROSS, N.D. — A Wiliston woman was injured Wednesday, May 25, when the pickup she was driving collided with a train about 6 miles northwest of Ross in Mountrail County.
According to a report released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol:
Kimberly Northridge, 34, was driving southbound on 95th Avenue Northwest near Ross about noon Wednesday when her pickup failed to yield to an eastbound BNSF train, which was empty.
Northridge was ejected from her vehicle through the passenger window.
She was taken to a hospital in Stanley and later transferred to Trinity Hospital in Minot. Ross is about midway between Minot and Williston in northwest North Dakota.
The crash remains under investigation.
