Mandan teens suspected of swiping 'large quantity of vaping products'
The burglars used a rock to shatter a glass door to break into Moe’s Smoke Shop in Mandan, North Dakota, police said.
MANDAN, N.D. — A smash-and-grab burglary at a smoke shop in Mandan resulted in the arrest of two teenage boys, according to the Mandan Police Department.
At about 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, police received a report of a break-in at Moe’s Smoke Shop at 3930 Memorial Highway.
The burglars used a rock to shatter a glass door to break into the shop and take a "large quantity of vaping products," police said in a statement.
Video showed two people were involved in the burglary. Shortly after the crime, investigators identified two boys, ages 13 and 15, as suspects, police said.
On Tuesday, authorities executed a search warrant at the boys' Mandan home and arrested them on suspicion of burglary.
Police recovered a number of the stolen items. A 14-year-old girl was charged with possession of stolen property, police said.
The 38-year-old mother of the teens was arrested on drug charges, police said.
