Scholarship applications opened through North Dakota Dollars for Scholars

High school seniors and current college students may apply for scholarships through the North Dakota Dollars for Scholars program.

BISMARCK — Scholarship applications are now being accepted from North Dakota high school seniors and current college students through the North Dakota Dollars for Scholars program.

Over $95,000 in scholarships will be awarded, ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 each for the 2022-23 academic year, according to a news release from the Bank of North Dakota, a state-owned and state-run financial institution based in Bismarck.

Students may apply even if their high school doesn’t have a local Dollars for Scholars chapter.

Scholarship offerings cover a variety of categories including vocational and technical schools, military and community service.

The deadline to apply is April 1.
