MANDAN, N.D. — Authorities have identified a 22-year-old man who was found dead in the Missouri River near Mandan on Sunday, March 20.
The body of Isaac Bohaty was discovered in a channel of the Missouri River near South Bay Drive and 40th Avenue Southeast in Mandan.
Preliminary autopsy results show that Bohaty's death was an accidental drowning, according to the Mandan Police Department.
On Sunday, authorities said they received a missing person report for Bohaty who was last seen near where police later found his body.
Belongings thought to be Bohaty's were found on the ice of the Missouri River near where he was last seen, police said.

Dive teams from the sheriff's offices in Morton and Burleigh counties found Bohaty's body in open water in the channel.
