STEELE COUNTY, N.D. — A Luverne, North Dakota man was seriously injured in a single vehicle crash on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
According to a press release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the unidentified 29-year-old man was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Sixth Street Southeast (County Road 5) near the 125th Avenue Southeast intersection.
At 11:44 p.m. the vehicle left the roadway, entered the south ditch, rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. The driver had been unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle. He sustained serious injuries.
The driver was transported to the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo by Hope Ambulance Service.
According to the release, the man had been driving under the influence. The crash is under investigation by the NDHP.

At the time of the crash, there was light snow covering the gravel road.
