Woman found dead in house fire near Thief River Falls identified

The case remains under investigation.

PENNINGTON COUNTY — The woman found dead in her home near Thief River Falls, Minnesota, following a residential fire has been identified.

According to a press release from the Pennington County Sheriff's Office, a residential house fire was reported early Wednesday morning, Dec. 7 in the Rocksbury Township.

Once the fire was extinguished, a woman was found dead inside the residence. She has been identified as 70-year-old Audrey Miller.

The case remains under investigation.
